HFC has become a partner site for Rowan University’s Camden Health Research Initiative research project, “Understanding the Ecology of Immigrant Families and their Integration into Camden City: Multiple Systems for Health and Well-Being of Young Children from Birth to Age 5”. The project aims to understand existing and desired systems and supports surrounding the young children of immigrants from birth to age 5.
A mixed methods design will be used to collect data from immigrant families and other stakeholders (e.g., teachers, health providers, social support agents). Specific information and responses shared by families and providers will be kept confidential and only shared in de-identified, aggregate form. As a token of Rowan’s appreciation, small incentives (e.g., gift cards) will be provided to participating families and providers.
