On June 7, 2019, the Hispanic Family Center of Southern New Jersey, Inc. (HFC) hosted its annual Health Fair. In partnership with La Parada San Juan Bautista’s celebration of culture and tradition, this impactful event provided hundreds of families from the community with education, health-related information, free health testing opportunities, and a chance for families to discover services within the community that can help them lead healthier lives. The event took place in front of HFC’s facilities on S. 29th Street and Federal Street, in Camden, New Jersey and feature Walkaround Rosita from Sesame Street. The event was held in partnership with La Parada San Juan Bautista and sponsored by Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Jefferson Health, Stark & Stark Attorneys at Law, PNC Bank, Horizon NJ Health, Holman Enterprises, PSE&G, Penn Medicine, Delaware Valley Benefit Advisors, United Healthcare, Republic Bank, The Lourdes Health System, Cooper University Health Care, State of NJ Department of Children and Families Division of Child Protection and Permanency, Volunteers of America Delaware Valley, Szerlip & Co, Saint Joseph’s Carpenter Society, Archer & Greiner P.C.P, Affordable Offset Printing, Miguel’s Pharmacy, Stringari & Stringari and CareFinders Total Care.
