In recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Hispanic Family Center held a Domestic Violence Awareness Walk on October 26.
The theme of this walks was “Unmask the Truth to Stop the Abuse.” Members of the community joined the HFC to walk 8 laps around Dudley Grange Park. The 8 laps represent the acts of domestic violence that happen every 8.5 minutes in New Jersey. Thank you to all who attended and supported the event.
¡En reconocimiento del Mes Nacional de Concientización sobre la Violencia Doméstica, el Centro Familiar Hispano realizó una caminata de Concientización sobre la Violencia Doméstica el 26 de octubre de 2018.
El título de la actividad fue “Desenmascarar la Verdad para Detener el Abuso”. Miembros de la comunidad se unieron al HFC para caminar 8 vueltas alrededor de Dudley Grange Park. Las 8 vueltas representaron el hecho de que cada 8.5 minutos ocurren actos de violencia doméstica en Nueva Jersey. Gracias a todos los que asistieron y apoyaron el evento.
